Patrick is being completely silly, and the only one around to put up with his nonsense is Dagre. He sits very patiently as Patrick plays with his gum, drinks loudly, spouts off ideas for businesses, and speculates about what mermaids call their ejaculate. Sure, they try to do some news stories and voicemails, and get on track, but Patrick’s complete lack of ability to focus keeps them from doing anything but making balloon porn and talking about Duck Tales.
